Five free ways to train doubles

A balanced 20-minute doubles session

  1. 5 minutes: Around the Clock Doubles for board coverage.
  2. 10 minutes: 100 Doubles or a shorter fixed-dart block on your weakest target.
  3. 5 minutes: 9 Dart Double Out or Bob’s 27 for pressure.

Do not track hit percentage alone

A useful doubles profile also considers sample size, exact target, hit streaks, darts per hit and whether the result was produced during a volume drill or a pressure drill. Ocheflow keeps those result types separate before using them in Training Insights and OcheScore.

Common doubles-training mistakes

  • Changing target after only a few darts and creating an unreliable sample.
  • Only training a favourite double and ignoring weak match targets.
  • Comparing a relaxed 100-dart session directly with a nine-dart pressure test.
  • Focusing on the arm movement after every miss instead of preserving a repeatable routine.

Let Daily Coach choose your double

When enough target data exists, Smart Training Insights can recommend a specific weak double.
